More Than 40 Percent of College Athletes Admit to Posting Something "Inappropriate" on Snapchat
Fieldhouse Media tried to figure out why that is recently by speaking with more than 1,000 college athletes about their social media habits and then putting together a very interesting infographic. They discovered that about 45 percent of these athletes never received any social media training at all from their schools. And as a result, the athletes admitted that they have made mistakes on social media. For example:
- 22 percent said that they have responded to hateful tweets from fans.
- 6 percent said that they have checked a social media account during a game.
- 37 percent said that they have posted something online that they've later regretted.
